So you’re thinking of booking a session with us? Great! We would absolutely love to work with you. But you’re not sure what to expect? In todays blog, we’ll have a walk through of what you can expect from your session from booking to receiving your beautiful images.
When you contact us either via email or the booking form on our website, we will get in touch with you as soon as possible to arrange a suitable time and date for your session. We will also chat to you about what you are looking for from your session and any ideas you have and talk over outfit ideas. We will send over our terms and conditions, a model release form where you can give permission for us to share your images (or not if you prefer), and an invoice with all the information you need to pay. We do ask that a non refundable booking fee is paid as soon as possible. This booking fee reserves the date and time of your session. Information on your final payment will be included in your invoice. We also have a guide on choosing outfits that we can send to you if you would like it.
On the day of your session, if you have opted for a session at our home studio, we will welcome you with a big smile and refreshments. If you have chosen a session on location, unfortunately we won’t have any refreshments but we still have the smiles! We want your session to be an enjoyable, relaxed experience and we aim to achieve this as soon as we meet. We then ask you to get in position and just relax whilst we take some test shots that we don’t use to ensure that all the lighting and things are set up correctly. We will then work with you and your little ones to ensure we get some great images! We often give sneak peaks to the back of the camera too.
So what about after your session? This will depend on the session you have had. If your session includes a password protected online gallery, once your images have been professionally edited you will receive an email with the link and password for your gallery to view and select your images. You have the option to purchase more images and products from your gallery if you would like.
If your session includes an appointment to view and select your images, whilst you are at your session we will set a date and time in the diary for you to come back for your viewing appointment. When you arrive, you will be greeted with refreshments and we will show you a slideshow of your images. We can then look through them all one by one and narrow down which images you would like to order. You can also have a look at products we offer if you would like to add those on to your order, but there is absolutely no pressure or hard selling from us.
Once you have selected your images, either in your viewing appointment or from your online gallery, we get to work on ensuring that your images are perfect. We order your products if you have purchased them and send your digital images to you.
